People First is a self-advocacy organization of people with developmental disabilities. Members share common problems and goals in order to become active members of the community. They work together as a group to develop individual self-advocacy skills, 

so each person can become a voice in the community.

What is self-advocacy?

     Standing up for yourself.  S peaking up for yourself.  Making you own decisions.
