Julie joins the Region 6 RCEC team as the State Coordinator for the Arkansas People First advocacy organization in Arkansas. She began working with the Arkansas People First project in 1998. She has coordinated many activities in the state that include technical assistance in initiating chapters throughout the state of Arkansas as well as the state-wide network of self advocates within the disability community. Julie has coordinated three People First state conferences and publication the Arkansas People First "THE POINT" newsletter. Julie is near completion of her Bachelors degree in journalism at the University of Arkansas. Julie will continue to serve as the State Coordinator for People First as well as coordinating the Region 6 RCEC’s training, technical assistance and consultancy services for the Arkansas People First self-advocacy initiatives.

Kim Worlow, M.A.
State Advisor
Arkansas People First
Kim is based in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She completed her Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with an emphasis in Supported Employment at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Her eleven year background in the field of rehabilitation includes direct service, as well as management of a Transitional Employment program. For the past several years she has done private training and consulting in the area of Supported Employment, Natural Supports, and Advocacy.
